EtherLite RJ-45 to DB-9F DCE modtap adapter

The table shows the wiring diagram for an RJ-45 8-pin to DB-9 DCE

modtap adapter. This adapter is used to connect a console or com port to

an EtherLite port, and is available from Digi by ordering part number

76000461.

NOTES:

• This cable utilizes the RTS/CTS signals of the console/com port for hardware

flow control.

• Since null- modem swapping is done within the modtap, a straight-through RJ45

cable is used between EtherLite and modtap adapter.

• EIA-232 cables cannot exceed 2500pF.
